LCAG Social Evening!

The next LCAG Social Evening will be on Wednesday 30th April at "Mr. Foley's" on the corner of the Headrow and East Parade.

It will start at 6.30 and go on as long as anyone wants. We have exclusive use of the function room.

Don't be put off by the trendy sounding name of the place, it is a York Brewery pub with more real ales than you can safely ride home after :-)

http://www.yorkbrew.demon.co.uk/Mr_fowleys.html

There is cycle parking outside the library opposite, and some railings immediately outside (but please don't obstruct the pavement)

Feel free to bring cycling related quizzes, pub games etc along.

Food is available until 7pm.

Hope to see you there,

Andy Beck LCAG Chair

Headingley Cycling Provision

There is a possibility that LCAG will apply for grant funding to commission a study into improving cycling provision in Headingley. If you have experience of, or a special interest in, such a project please contact Sue Clark, LCAG Secretary susan.clark_@_ukgateway.net (remove the underscores).

Cyc-O-Vision

Take a look at Greg Lee's great new website at www.cyc-o-vision.com.  Greg has attached a cheap video camera to his handlebars to record the antics of other road users.  He's also inviting others to submit their own videos.

The Saturday Bike Club is a regular two hours of fun for young cyclists. Based at the Richard Dunn sports centre in Bradford (West Yorkshire), the club is for all ranges of ability.
